MEDIATION. Mediation is a guided discussion process where a trained neutral mediator works with the parties and attorneys in a pending case to settle the matter before trial. The Clermont County Common Pleas Court uses mediation extensively to help litigants resolve cases more quickly and efficiently, and with less expense and risk than going to trial. There is no extra cost to the participants as the Court Mediator is a full time court employee. For additional details, please consult the Mediation FAQs on this web site.
