Mission Statement
The mission of the Clermont County Adult Probation Department is to fulfill the needs of the Common Pleas Court, to provide protection for the community, to facilitate reparation to victims, and to assist probationers as they move through the stages of positive behavior change.
We are committed to serving the Common Pleas Court by conducting accurate and reliable presentence investigation reports and by providing meaningful supervision of offenders.
We are committed to serving the community by maintaining public safety through appropriate supervision and monitoring of offenders and by reducing recidivism through providing meaningful and motivational intervention services to offenders.
We are committed to serving victims by facilitating victim input through victim impact statements and collection of court-ordered restitution.
We are committed to serving probationers by providing them with a continuum of services and sanctions in accordance with objectively determined risk levels and individually determined offender needs. We believe behavior change can be achieved through meaningful and motivational intervention strategies that encourage accountability and personal development.
