FORECLOSURE MEDIATION. Foreclosure mediation is a guided discussion process where a trained neutral mediator works with the lender, the homeowner, and attorneys in a pending foreclosure case to settle the matter by agreement. The Clermont County Common Pleas Court uses foreclosure mediation extensively to help litigants resolve foreclosure cases more quickly and efficiently, and with less expense and risk. There is no extra cost to the participants as the Court Mediator is a full time court employee. For additional details, please consult the Foreclosure Mediation FAQs on this web site.
